5 More sleeps . . . .

I've bought the most amazing piece of equitment called angel sounds, if I rest it on my little bump I can hear my little beans heartbeat and it swimming around, it's fantastic, although a little addictive.
I can't wait till I will be getting it a stocking ready in the coming years, I don't know who will get the most excited, me or the little one x

Not long to go now until the big day arrives! The mere and surrounding countryside has looked so Christmassy for the past 3 days, with heavy frost decorating the tree's, but now it's turned dismal, wet and damp. Hope it's like that again for Christmas Day.

Finally the tree is up and the stockings are hung, and it's really begining to feel like Christmas, especially after watching Elf yesterday, which is still so funny although I've watched it dozens of times.

Christmas competition entry

So I've just sent of an entry to the tigerprint christmas competition.  Although having such a serious dose of lazyitus, I  had been really excited by the brief, but I'd had about 3 different designs and I've only sent of one as it's probably going to take me till next Christmas to finish the others, but I thought I'd do it anyway as a bit of fun.  I've also had an obsession with pigs lately so I'll hopefully have some new pig illustrations to upload too.

The Smiley Bean

This is our fisrt scan picture, which apparently the little bean smiled as it was captured, think we have a little show off to be proud off.

the wriggler...

Best Part of the day - having first scan and seeing a very wriggly baby, worst part - walking into the back room and seeing smoke!!!

Well I think the above gives an idea to why there has been a lack of posts for a while, I never knew that pregnancy could make you so tired and lethargic, I haven't had the energy to do much at all, apart from eat (which I have been doing a lot of). Before going for the scan I was so nervous, but all was well and I couldn't help but get a bit emotional, to see a little bean that wouldn't keep still long enough to have its measurements taken. It was waving it's arms and legs, and doing spins, I'm sure it was trying to say 'hi Mum and Dad look at Me'.

The smoke part of the day was due to leaving logs by the log burner to dry out, which then got so hot they caught fire, thank god the smoke alarm alerted me quick enough to do something about it. Phew!
